A Brief Picture Of Desire
"A Brief Picture Of Desire" is the name of Clothilde Royer's experimental thesis from school. It mixes photographies and videos to figures out in which way the camera helps us to reach out (or not) the object of our desire. During the exhibition "A Brief Image Of Desire", the photographs were displayed in backlit frames. The LEDs used added uniformity between analogs images of bodies and digital images of statues. Thus, the human body becomes a sculpture, an ideal shaped by the camera.
